About Us

This project is a collaboration between China Unicom Global and City University of Hong Kong, aimed at promptly tracking and understanding discussions on "fraud" among Hong Kong social media users. Our team has collected public discussions containing fraud-related keywords from various social platforms and analyzed the text using large language models. Through these analyses, we can quickly identify new fraud methods, understand public opinions on various fraud incidents, and explore perceived causes of fraud and possible preventive measures.

We encourage netizens to share their personal experiences and express their views more actively on social forums. Such first-hand information will have a direct impact on the work of telecom operators, financial institutions, and law enforcement agencies, helping them better formulate prevention and response measures.

If you have any experiences or insights related to fraud, please feel free to share them with us, contributing together to the maintenance of social security. Contact information: xf.liu@cityu.edu.hk
